Singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist, ELLIOTT SKINNER is a thoughtful creator with an ethereal approach to folk and soul music. His dedication to creating music that is an influential force for people to understand other people is the reason many artists choose to work with him. He has toured and recorded with Chance the Rapper, Eryn Allen Kane, Leon Bridges, Samora Pinderhughes, Chaka Khan, Amos Lee, Pusha T, and more. New York based, but raised in Texas, Elliott Skinner’s music is a beautiful example of what comes from the lineage of powerful and intentional Black expression.

Tonite, Elliott Elliott Skinner will perform mostly unreleased original songs on electric and acoustic guitar. Trying to fill the room with tools to break down walls. Compositions based on themes of change, labor, the need to express, and correlation between expression and our understanding of each other. With a heavy advice the sing along, this the performance intends to blur the line between stage and audience and develop a sense of unison in the feelings we all share. Echoing the traditions of an indigenous practice, singing together — for each other. A tradition carried in the framework of a people brought here without choice, creating worlds that hadn’t existed yet.
