Tubby is a NYC-based band playing old school New Orleans R+B tunes which borrow liberally from Allen Toussaint's 1958 debut album, "The Wild Sounds of New Orleans." Expect some dirty tenor sax delivered Lee Allen-style with shades of Red Prysock thrown in for good measure. Tubby has become one of NYC's favorite party bands and are sure to make you shake your tush until you pull a muscle.
