On a jazz scene brimming with exceptionally gifted young drummers, ELÉ SALIF HOWELL is rapidly earning a spot in the crowded top tier. With a deep appreciation for musical roots and a fearless exploration of new sounds, Howell weaves his own voice into the folds of his unique compositions that result in a harmonious blend of tradition and innovation, offering an auditory experience that is both timeless and contemporary.


Venezuela-born pianist and two-time GRAMMY nominee, BENITO GONZALES, is known for his virtuosic playing with Pharoah Sanders and Kenny Garrett. Benito grew up immersed in the Venezuelan folk tradition, but became enamored with the American jazz tradition from a young age, absorbing the work of Herbie Hancock, Keith Jarrett, and McCoy Tyner before moving to the U.S. for jazz studies and work with post-bop saxophone innovator Jackie McLean. Gonzalez appears on three albums with the master saxophonist Kenny Garrett and has recorded four albums as a leader.

RYOMA TAKENAGA, a New York City native, began his musical journey at the age of five when he learned to play the piano; four years later, he began studying upright bass. Currently pursuing his music education at New York University, Ryoma is a twenty year old bright light on the city's vibrant music scene. His journey features performances alongside legendary names in the industry like Jack DeJohnette, Lenny White, Ulysses Owen’s Jr. and Chief Adjuah (Formerly known as Christian Scott).
